David R. Adams, Sr.

David Adams, Sr. died peacefully on May 11, 2023, at 76 years old at his home in Ten Mile, Tennessee. Dave lost his battle with Mesothelioma after 1 year.

Dave is survived by his wife, Barbara of 54 years; his children, Tamara Boyle (Russell), Dave, Jr. (Monica) and youngest daughter Deborah Garcia (Lenin). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Olivia Adams, Connor Storch and Benjamin Mattice. He is also survived by his siblings, George E. Adams, III (Shelly) & Carolyn Young (Rick). Many nieces and nephews, great nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

David grew up in Hamburg, NY and graduated from West Seneca, NY in 1965. He attended sheet metal trade school, was a sheet metal worker and outside Union Superintendent for Niagara Frontier Sheet Metal for most of his 50 yr career. He enjoyed boating, golfing, being with family, and driving his corvette. He and Barb lived in Bennington, NY for 30 years before retiring and locating in Ten Mile, Tennessee for the last 14 years.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 123 S Jackson St, Athens, TN 37303 at 11am to 2pm on Saturday May 20th, 2023.
