David Haskel 'Hack' Morrow

David Haskel ‘Hack’ Morrow, 88, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at his home.
Hack was a well-known Cleveland plumber and was a longtime member of Waterville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years.
He was the son of the late Jesse James and Muncy Lee Morrow. He was also preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Betty J. Morrow; his children Sherry Casteel, Pam (Bobby) DeLay, David Morrow, and Tyler (Suzy) Morrow. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Twana Cochran, April Smith, Hollye Proffitt, Rob DeLay, Andy Morrow, Courtney DeLay, Colten Morrow, Sklyer Morrow along with 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings: John Morrow, Hazel Hughes, Joyce Dantzler, Jean McDonald, and Betty Morrow.
A celebration of his life is planned for Friday January 4, 2019 at 11:00am at Waterville Baptist Church with Pastor Coby Goins and Joe Brooks officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Alan Colloms, Dean Earby, Gregg Ervin, Lamar Ervin, Ernest Jackson, and Dewayne Morrow serving as pallbearers. The deacons of Waterville Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Waterville Baptist Thursday January 3, 2018 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and on Friday from 10:00am until the service at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Waterville Baptist Church Building Fund.
