David "Hambone" Britt

David “Hambone” Britt, 64, passed away at Parkwest Medical Center November 21, 2015. He was born March 2, 1951 to the late James Charles Britt and the former Elsie Margaret Sullivan Britt. David enjoyed riding his motorcycles, repairing them and was always making things.
Along with his parents, David is preceded in death by one son, Timothy Britt; three brothers, Ronnie Britt, Daniel Britt and Bobby Britt.
David is survived by a special friend, Elizabeth Figueroa; one son, David Mickey White; three daughters, Linnea Britt, Shannon Harris and Lori Britt; several grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Sullivan and Charles Britt; three sisters, Marie Burger, Jonell Welch and Frances Walker; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 6:00pm-7:00pm on Friday November 27, 2015 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 7:00pm.
