David Earl Ford

David Earl Ford, 83, of Cleveland, TN passed away on March 14, 2022. He was born on April 3, 1938 to the late Lee and Cora Ford. David was a resident of Cleveland for the past 27 years after moving here from Knoxville.

He retired from the United States Air Force and the United States Postal Service. He loved to hunt and fish, and was a devoted man of God. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father and several brothers and sisters.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 44 years, Brenda Ford; daughters Crystal Goodrich (Scott) and Connie Gilland (Allen); siblings: Ann Bradburn (Gene), Conley Ford (Mary), and Henry Ford (Merle); grandchildren: Josh Gilland, Andrew Phillips, Corey Phillips, Christopher Denney, Anny Goodrich, and Austin Denney; sisters in law Linda Smith and Mary Ford and special friend Sue Dale.

David’s family will receive friends from 1pm to 3pm on Wednesday March 16th at Companion Funeral Home with a celebration of life service to follow at 3pm.
