Darrell Willard Morgan

Darrell Willard Morgan, age 79, of the Mt. Vernon Community, passed away on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021 at Tennova Hospital. Darrell was an avid classic car collector. He loved driving his old cars and especially enjoyed driving through the mountains with Ruby, his loving wife of 55 years. Darrell retired from Vestal Manufacturing after 33 years of service.
Preceded in death by: Father, Otha Morgan, and Mother, Thelma Morgan; Siblings, R.L. Morgan; Wesley Morgan; Harold Wayne Morgan; and infant brother Bobby Morgan.
Survived by: Devoted Wife Ruby Morgan; Sons and spouses; Rick and VB Morgan, Johnny Morgan and Jessica Best; Randall and Donna Morgan; Dennis and Lori Morgan; Daughter and spouse Angela and Jerry Headrick; Brother and Sister-in-law, Buddy and Linda Morgan; 11 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, Many Nieces and Nephews, and Special Friends Reverend Tommy Self and Hannah Croft.
Services will be held on Sunday, December 12th at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 709 Red River Rd, Englewood, TN 37329. Receiving Friends will be from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m.
