Darrell Lee Vaughn

Darrell Lee Vaughn, CMSgt (ret), 80, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away at home on Friday, October 30, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Darrell enjoyed hunting, fishing, coin collecting and movies. He especially loved the faithful and loving companionship of his dog and cat, Melinko and Ellie. Most importantly, he loved his family.



He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Jewel Vaughn, as well as his brothers Larry, Jimmy, Pete and Tommy Vaughn, his sisters Gail Boling and Bo Bryson and grandson Keith Lee Smette.



Darrell leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 37 years, Lucille Vaughn, his daughters Barbara Houston (Tim), Charlotte Smette (Doug) and Elizabeth Montoya and his son, James Vaughn (Rebecca), his grandchildren Nicole Alaniz, Sarah Jaye Bell, Dana Peacock, Robert Smette, Meagan Gauvin, Aaron James Vaughn, Amanda Montoya, Michael Montoya and Katie Montoya, ten great grandchildren and his siblings, Jack Vaughn, Wayne Vaughn and Danny Vaughn.



A celebration of life service is planned for 6:00pm on Tuesday November 3rd, 2015 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW. An internment service with full military honors will be held at Fort Hill Cemetery on Ocoee Street in Cleveland, TN on Thursday November 5th, 2015 at 2:30PM.



A visitation period will be held from 5:00pm until the 6:00pm service time.
