Darlene Vanessa Davis

Darlene Vanessa Davis, 54, of Cleveland, TN passed away on September 2, 2021, the same day as her husband, John Davis. She was born and raised in Bradley County and a member of Philippi Baptist Church. She loved to go shopping and enjoyed serving on the church finance committee and cooking for bereaved families on behalf of the church. She also enjoyed attending car shows with her husband, John, and her dog Dino.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her father William Pickel; grandparents: Autence and Emma Long, Thomas Pickel, Rhoda Jane Wallraven, and Dennis Houston.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents Buddy and Dot Henry and brothers Danny Pickel and Anthony Pickel.
A joint celebration of John and Darlene’s life will be held at 5pm on Sunday September 12, 2021 at Philippi Baptist Church with Dr. Sammy Hooker Officiating. Their family will receive friends from 3pm until the service at 5pm. They will be laid to rest at Lee Cemetery.
The family requests that attendees wear masks if they are able and practice social distancing.
