Danny Baker

Danny Baker, 66, of Athens, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on October 17, 1955 to the late Taylor and Mandy Baker in Athens, Tennessee.
Danny was a lifelong resident of Athens where most knew him as a wheeler and dealer. He had a passion for cars, trucks, and motorcycles, he enjoyed tinkering out in his yard or picking his guitar and singing. Danny’s favorite hobbies were riding and fixing motorcycles with his boys, antiquing, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his grandbabies.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Baker, Ruby Carroll, Hazel Allmon, and Marie King; and his brother, Earl Baker.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 40 years, Kendra Baker; sons, Nick (Sherri) Baker, Travis (Brianna) Baker; his grandchildren, Harlee Baker, Gunner Baker, Harper Baker, and Hanson Baker, brother, Joe Baker of Brooksville, Florida; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Danny was a wonderful man that was loved dearly, will be missed and always cherished. He can be characterized as a devoted husband, a loving father, and the worlds best papaw to his grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 5:00 pm – 7:00pm at Companion funeral Home of Athens.
