Daniel "Danny" Herman Davis

Daniel “Danny” Herman Davis, 56, of Cleveland, TN Passed away on October 15, 2018 at his residence. He was born on July 25, 1962 to Herman Davis and Alice Fay Cooper. Danny has lived in Cleveland for most of his life. He was a member of Mt. Olive Church of God. Danny was a tremendous man of God who loved Jesus with all his heart and had a deep personal walk with Christ. He was a true family man who loved his family dearly. Danny will also be remembered as a true outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Davis.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 28 years, Angie Davis; son Chief Thomas Adam Davis (Brittany); daughter Kelcy Skinner (Josh); mother Alice Fay Cooper (Willis); siblings: Angie Black (Ron), Christi Cooper, Daryl Cooper, Debbie Hefner, and Denise Clemmens; grandchildren: Lily Davis, Gracie Skinner, Logan Skinner, Nathan Skinner, and Caleb Skinner. In addition to these, Danny leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 2:00pm on Friday October 19, 2018 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Sears and Rev. James Sears officiating. Interment will follow the service in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Seth Hammond, Tony Ferguson, Todd Pitts, Hunter Rogers, Chris Womack, and Gene Roberts serving as pallbearers. Danny’s Bendabout Farm family will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mt. Olive Church of God in Danny’s memory.
