Dana Bryan Ellis

March 12, 1959 — April 1, 2018

Dana Bryan Ellis, 59, passed away in his home early Easter morning April 1, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN. Dana was a respiratory therapist for almost 40 years. He fought a 14 month battle with glioblastoma multiform brain cancer and is now celebrating his new life with the Lord. He is survived by his wife Kimberly Ellis of Chattanooga, TN; his 3 children, Bryan, Hannah and Gracie Ellis; his sisters, Sherry Cavitt, Renee Baker and Dee Cavitt; granddaughter Penelope Grace Norris; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Ellis and his mother, Edna Ellis. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Brainerd United Methodist Church Saturday April 7,2018. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and a service in the sanctuary will begin at 3:00 p.m. The service will be officiated by Rev. Dr. Adam E. McKee III. In lieu of flowers, please make charitable donations to Brainerd United Methodist Church building fund.
