Craig Ledford

Craig Ledford, 51, passed away November 14, 2022. He was born on August 30, 1971, to Carl and Mildred Ledford in Hamilton, Ohio. Craig was raised with his 6 other siblings, and all of the other kids on Layhigh Road. His love for music led him around the country on many adventures, for many years. He was a singer, song writer, and musician that could put on a show. He began singing at 9, playing the bass guitar 12, writing songs at 15, and played his first club at 16. Craig’s wild and rambunctious nature couldn’t be beat. Even though he looked rough around the edges, he was anything but that. He was loving and caring, you could tell that by the way his grandbabies loved him, their Poppy.

Craig is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mildred Ledford.

Survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Beverly Ledford; daughter and son-in-law, Shelby (Jacob) South; grandchildren, Silas Ford, Marlowe Jean, and grandbaby #3 due any day; siblings, Tom (Darla) Ledford, Carla Ledford, Doug (Carrie) Ledford, Michele (Johnny) Harris, Trace Ledford, Sabrina (Mike) Stanifer; brother-in-law, Dustin Haire; mother-in-law, Florine Haire; many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, 7:00 PM chapel service with Thomas Ledford officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
