Mrs. Coleen Prim Henry, 83, formerly of Statesville, NC died at the Bradley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Cleveland, TN. Born in Six, West Virginia on February 5, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Evin T. Prim and Janie Atkins Prim. She was preceded in death by her husband Jackie Lee Henry, daughter Charlotte Henry Pharr, brothers, Bill Prim, R.C. Prim, and E.J. Prim, and sisters, Annie Smith, Mamie Stafford, and Irene Scott. She was self-employed and owned Coleen's Drape Shop and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She attended Surry County Schools.
Survivors include: sister Christine Bowman of High Point, NC, daughters: Jackie Coleen Roberts, spouse Tom Roberts and Peggy Henry Reid and spouse Earl Reid all of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren Angie Hilton of North Carolina, Gene Roberts of Cleveland, Sandra Lingo of Cleveland, Chad Roberts of Houston, TX; Clay Pharr of GA, Wendi Tourigny of Cleveland, Gena Benton of Cleveland, Landon Reid of Cleveland; eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great- grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening October 16, 2014 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Bradley Healthcare & Rehab Chapel. Memorials may be given to Bradley Healthcare & Rehab Alzheimer's Fund, 2910 Peerless Rd., Cleveland, TN 37312. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00am on Monday October 20th at Nicholson Funeral Home in Statesville, NC.
