Clyde David "Pic" Pickens

Clyde David “Pic” Pickens, 85, a lifelong resident of McMinn County passed away on Sunday morning, April 9, 2023, in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was born in Etowah, TN on April 29, 1937, a son of the late Otis & Anna Cele Pickens. David was of the Christian faith and a member of First Church of God in Englewood, TN. He enjoyed bird hunting and shooting sporting clays in his spare time.

David leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Charlotta Yarber Pickens, 2 nieces Christal Pistole (Jarret) and Kelli Jamerson, three nephews Scott Gay (Eva), Larry Yarber Jr. and Jordan Yarber, great nieces and nephews Andrew Gay, Olivia Lawson (Dylan), Kayla Young (Logan) and Kate Pistole, great great nieces and nephews Paisleigh & Huntleigh Young and Emily & Evelyn Lawson.

A graveside service is planned for Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the McMinn Memory Gardens with the Reverend Scott Cardin officiating.
