Clyda Ferne Lewis

Clyda Ferne Lewis of Etowah, TN and formerly of Tahoka, TX passed away on January 7, 2022 at the age of 97. She was born on March 20, 1924 to Loyd & LeLia (Short) McMillian in Lorenzo, TX. She graduated from Spring Lake- Earth High School in May 1941. She married Seth Harold Lewis on December 25, 1941 in San Antonio, TX. During World War II, she worked for Boyd Smith Auto Supply in Tahoka, TX for 5 ears. Later, she worked at Pioneer Natural Gas Company in Tahoka for 17 ½ years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Seth on February 16, 2013.
Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter Sethen Moore; one son Gary Lewis, two grandchildren Kimberly Moore and Kyle Lewis and numerous other extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in her memory.
