Christopher Randolph Truelove

Christopher (Randy) Truelove, 69, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023.

Randy was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, was a graduate of Bradley Central High School, was a United States Army and National Guard veteran with 13 years of service, and was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church. He retired from Westvaco after twenty-three years.

Randy loved camping and driving his Jeep through the mountains but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful father, son, brother and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father Floyd Truelove and mother Beaulah Truelove, wife, Gwyn Truelove, brother Ronald Truelove, and sister Connie White.

Survivors include daughters Angie (Chad) Buckner and Kristi (Mike) Mahaney and son Greg (Susan) Truelove, stepsons Aaron (Sarah) Brown and Eric (Missy) Brown, brothers Arnold (Joann) Truelove, Tom (Yvonne) Truelove, Vanis (Sherry) Truelove and sister Lillie Vines, grandchildren Kayla (Wes) Boyd, Kelsey Millard, Maddie Mahaney, Owen Mahaney, Miranda Truelove, Brooke (Mac) Massengill, and Rachel Buckner, step grandchildren Adrian Brown, Brooke Collins, Christy Brown, Marissa Brown and Gabe Brown and several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, May 7, at 4 p.m. at Cedar Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Dusty Caldwell officiating and Reverend Homer Roberts leading the closing prayer.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour at Cedar Springs Baptist Church in Cleveland.
