Christine R. Reynolds

Christine Reynolds, 95, of Cleveland, Tn, passed away August 8, 2021, at Hospice Care Center. Born on June 26, 1926, to the late Thomas Benjamin Richardson and Rosa Mitchell Richardson. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church and the Cleveland Emmaus Community. She loved to play bridge and was a member of several bridge groups, served on several different committees at Broad Street UMC. She also loved teaching Sunday School to all ages but especially her friends in the FEALTY and Reynolds classes. She also cherished the memories of substitute teaching at Cleveland High School.

Christine is preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister; husband, Dr. James R. Reynolds, Jr.; son-in-law, Chuck Armstrong; and granddaughter, Danyelle Reynolds.

Survived by her sons, Jim Reynolds, of Florida and Mike (Mary) Reynolds, of Cleveland, TN; daughter, Amy Armstrong, of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Jimmy, Mika and fiancée Alli, Rachel, and Hilary.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021, from 3:00 PM-4:00 PM at Companion Funeral Home, followed by the service at 4:00 PM in the chapel with Pastor Debbie Stokes, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Broad Street UMC’s Sunday School Memorial Fund or Hospice of Chattanooga.
