Cheryl Crick Huskey

September 18, 1967 — June 3, 2020

Cheryl Irene Crick Huskey, wife of Roy Thomas (Tommy) Huskey, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2020 with her husband by her side. Cheryl and Tommy would have celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary on June 4.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, David W Crick and her father-in-law Roy T Huskey. She is survived by her mother Juanita Crick and her mother-in-law Ernestine Huskey. She is also survived by her siblings David Crick (Debbie), Paula Cole (Bruce), Roger Crick (Patti) and Sister-in-Law Pam Simmons (Bobby) and her three aunts and one uncle. Cheryl was known as the “cool aunt” to her nine nieces and six nephews and loved all of her cousins.
Cheryl was also mom to Aspen, Flint and Peanut her beloved dogs. She lived life to the fullest and loved traveling.
Cheryl had many others in her life including the Sequoyah German Shepherd group, her high school friends and coworkers from Magic Chef/Maytag where she worked for many years as a shipping clerk.
Cheryl was born in Nashville, Tennessee but Cleveland was her home where she graduated from Bradley High School and Cleveland State College. She was a member of the Church of Christ but her health prevented her from attending services.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 6 at Companion Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland Tennessee from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at Eastside Church of Christ, Cleveland TN on Sunday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. with ministers Mike Gurganus and Bill Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery.
For the safety of all attendees the family asks that you wear a mask and practice social distancing.
