Cheri Lynn Jackson

Cheri Lynn Maierle Jackson, a resident of Cleveland, TN since 1989 joined the Church eternal on February 28. Cheri was born in Memphis, TN on October 24, 1956 to the late C. A. & Elizabeth Blair Maierle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Blair Maierle. Cheri leaves behind loving family members including her husband of nearly 33 years, Steve Jackson, M.D.; four children: Stephen William Jackson II; and his wife, Gentry Pace Jackson; Tyler Reid Jackson; Rachael Blair Jackson & Daniel Philip Jackson. She is also survived by her first grandchild, Emory Elizabeth Jackson. Cheri leaves behind several members of her extended family as well as countless friends from the Cleveland area, Broad St. United Methodist Church and the Memphis area.
Family will receive friends at Broad St. United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 4th from 2 to 4pm. A celebration service of the life of Cheri Jackson will follow.
Cheri was a registered nurse at Methodist Hospital in Memphis from 1978 through 1989. Her most important profession, however, was to raise four beautiful children and to serve as their mentor in life. Cheri was an active member of Broad St. United Methodist Church and was active in both the children’s and youth ministries. She also co-taught an adult Sunday School class for the past 10 years. Her hobbies included traveling, photography and spending time with family and friends.
