Cheerie Lea Merrell

Cheerie Lea Merrell, age 55, of Tellico Plains passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Cheerie was born on January 9, 1966 to the late Bill and Reba Todd. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, James Todd, and Steven Todd; Sister-in-law, Sonya Todd; son, Cody Partain; and her niece, Ashley Todd.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Michael Merrell; children, Sheena Moses and spouse, Cody Roberts and spouse, Cheyanna Merrell, and Brooklyn Merrell; grandchildren, Kaylee, Makayla, Jacob, Jack, Xander Chastain, and Christopher Partain; her siblings, Mike Todd, Johnny Todd, Sandy Thompson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will be receiving friends on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens, Tennessee.
