Charles William Evans

Charles William Evans, 73, of Georgetown received his eternal healing on Monday morning peacefully at home with his loving wife of 54 years and entered into his heavenly home. He was the son of the late Roscoe and Zelma Evans. In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his brother Ronald Evans and nephew Steve Evans. Charlie was an avid hot rod enthusiast and enjoyed working on his antique cars, especially Novas.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife Juanita Evans; two daughters Becky (Noel) Scott and Brenda (David) Long. He also leaves behind two granddaughters that were his moon and stars, Breanna and Hannah Long. He also leaves behind one brother, Kenneth (Wanda) Evans and niece Rhonda Evans.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at Burdette Baptist Church located at 1910 Blythe Ferry LN, Birchwood, TN. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday March 9, 2017 at the church with Rev. David Evans and Rev. James Staton officiating. Interment will follow at Johnston Cemetery with a white dove release. Donny Qualls, James Nichols, Noel Scott, David Long, Ray Edwards, and Charlie Sneed will serve as pallbearers.
