Charles Roderick

Charles Roderick, 63, lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN, and known as Mike to many, passed away March 11, 2023, at Hospice Care Center. Born October 17, 1959. Charles accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church. He worked for Whirlpool for 27 years. Charles had a passion for bringing little children to Christ by giving countless Bible Story books. He loved animals, bluegrass gospel music, fishing, and time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James Franklin Key & Susie Wampler Key Patterson and Jessie Hubert Roderick & Lucy Melinda Wright Roderick.

Survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Peggy A. Roderick; parents, Jessie & Mary Sue Roderick; daughter, Pamela Roderick; sister, Susan Beaty (Randy Beaty, Sr.)

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at East Cleveland Baptist Church, 1145 Arnold St NE, Cleveland, TN 37311, followed by the service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Joe Lockman officiating. Burial will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Beaty Cemetery, on freewill road, Cleveland, TN. Pallbearers will be Joe Randolph, Edward Fox, Ron Burger, David Rosencrantz, Dewayne Bullard, Rodney Goins, Paul Woodard, and Al Nation. Honorary pallbearers will be William Evans and James Arp.
