Charles Edward Miller

Charles Edward Miller was born July 9, 1964, on his parents’ wedding anniversary, in Peekskill, New York.
As a young man, his sense of duty and work ethic brought him first to the Air Force, where he studied engineering. After exiting military service, his professional career was spent largely in the automotive and manufacturing industries. Charles earned a Master's of Business Administration, all while working and raising a family with his wife, Joann.
They spent nearly thirty years building a beautiful life together - first in New York, then Georgia, before settling together in Tennessee. Their relationship was founded on love, mutual respect for one another, and a love of their two daughters.
Charles had many talents, but he was best known for his generosity, his leadership, and the exacting standards he maintained for himself as a husband, father, grandfather, friend, employee, and supervisor.
Charles Miller, known affectionately as Charlie, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Joann Miller, daughter Lauren (Miller) and son-in-law, Mitchell Bowman, granddaughter Adalind Bowman, daughter Michelle Miller, parents William (Bill) and Jeanne Miller, sister Denise (Miller) and Mike Egan, sister Christine (Miller) and Christopher Murphy, and brother Raymond and Kathy Miller.
On Friday, May 17, 2019, a celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at Companion Funeral Services in Cleveland, Tennessee. The visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and a brief memorial service will immediately follow. All are welcome to attend.
If friends so desire, donations may be made in his name to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline or the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation.
Charlie, you will be missed by everyone whose life you touched. We love you dearly. Go in peace.
