Obituary

Charles Edwin Caldwell, 86, of Georgetown, TN passed away at his residence on April 6, 2015. He was born on July 5, 1928 to the late Charles Darius and Ida Chambers Caldwell. He was a long time farmer and truck driver and lifelong resident of this area. Edd retired from Roadway Express and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of East Brainerd Masonic Lodge and Shriners.

In addition to his mother and father he is preceded in death by wife Juanita Coleman Caldwell; one sister Mary Louise Caldwell and brother Billy Joe Caldwell.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory one son Eddie Caldwell, daughters Maxie Jones (Donnie), Linda Derrick; grandchildren Joseph Tucker Brown (Selena) of Alexandria, VA, Jeremy Derrick, Misty Derrick Martin, Collin James Caldwell and Morgan Lynne Caldwell; two nephews John David Caldwell and Timothy Caldwell; very special friend Tommie Millard; several great nieces, great nephews, great grandchildren and extended family members and friends.

A public graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday April 12, 2015 at Stanfield Cemetery with Rev. David Evans officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Edds memory directly to Stanfield Baptist Church. Randall Millard, Donald Burgess, Donnie Jones, Homer Nix, Doug Caldwell, and Danny Caldwell will be serving as pallbearers.
