Charles Cortez Earl Hayes

Charles Cortez Earl Hayes, 30, of Cleveland, TN passed away on July 4, 2022. Charles was born on January 4, 1992 in Memphis, TN. Charles was always happy and had a smile on his face, he was full of life and never met a stranger. He loved watching wrestling and playing video games. He was also a lover of music and known to many as “D.J. Boo.” Charles was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Pauline Hayes.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving mother Bernetta Mooneyhan stepdad Bo Mooneyhan; girlfriend Katelin Wilkerson and her mother and stepdad Kathy Herrera and Jody White; brother Trevon Young; cousin and best friend Valencia Wren and godmother Amentis Jemison; birth dad Charles Glenn II, two aunts Tony and Shacara, three uncles Detrick, Corey, and Jaren.

In addition to these Charles leaves behind numerous extended family members and close friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday July 16th at 3pm at Companion Funeral Home with visitation prior to the service from 12pm to 3pm. Burial will follow at Lee Cemetery after the service.
