Celotes Waylon Clark

Celotes Waylon Clark, Jr., 73, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 1st, 2018 at a local hospital. He was born in Bradley County, son of the late Celotes Waylon and Jean (Coleman) Clark. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cleveland and a member of Emmaus community. Waylon was a retired salesman/manager from the automobile industry and was a six year veteran of the National Guard. A devoted husband and friend to his wife of 38 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by infant son Kevin, and step-daughter Shannon.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Clark, brother Butch Clark (Lisa), step-son Shaun Childers (Dianne) of Midland, TX, six grandsons – Jonathan, Graham, Ethan, Caleb, Joshua and Brayden. Several nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, July 5th, at 6:30 PM the family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:30pm to 6:30pm in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road, Cleveland, Tennessee 37311. Rev. Tom Wicks of First Baptist Church officiating. Special music by close family friends Beth Burkey and Jeremiah Burkey with Mary Beth Wicks. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens with a private family ceremony.

The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 4:30 until the 6:30 PM service time.
