Cecil William Cross

Cecil William Cross 73, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 10:32 p.m. in his home with his wife, Linda Sue Cross by his side. Cecil was born on August 7, 1945 to Isham Earl and Maggie Belle Cross, who has preceded Cecil in death. Also gone before him is his brother, Herman Cross; two sisters, Willamae Trentham and Helen Ray; as well as several nephews.

Cecil is survived by his wife Linda, whom he married on May 28, 1982. He is also survived by his brother, Charles (Martha) Cross; children Tammy (Ron) Harris and Ricky Cross; along with several nieces and nephews. His brother-in-law, Michael David Smith assisted his sister Linda in the aide of Cecil in the preceding days of his death. Cecil was always full of laughter and fun, very charismatic, and loved being around his friends and family. His laughter can be heard forever as it was beautifully infectious to those around him.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 5-7pm at Companion Funeral Home: Cleveland Chapel. The celebration of life service will be held at 7pm following the visitation.
