Carson Allison

Carson Allison, 77, of Birchwood, TN, gained his wings on November 7, 2020 and is with his heavenly Father. He was saved Easter Sunday of March 1991 and had been serving the Lord ever since. Carson was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church in Birchwood, TN. A devoted husband, daddy, papaw, uncle, and friend. Carson loved everyone he encountered.

Preceded in death by his parents, Cliff & Willie Allison; brothers, Joe, Harle, and Billy Allison.

Survived by his wife of 47 years of marriage, Shirley Allison; son, Darrell (April) Allison; daughters, Donna (John) Elliott, Carla (Mickey) Buchanan; grandchildren, Jimmy & Angie Elliott, Logan Davis, Nicole & Taylor Allison and Emma Ziegler; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Abel, Abigail, and Waylon ; brother-in-law, Bo O’Linger; several dear & precious nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM-3:30 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Companion Funeral Home. Service will begin at 3:30 PM in the chapel with Dr. Sammy Hooker officiating. Burial will be held at Bald Hill Cemetery in Birchwood, TN with pallbearers, Jason Wolfe, John Elliott, Mickey Buchanan, Jimmy Elliott, Logan Davis and Vince Campbell. Honorary pallbearers, Tony Allison. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude’s, Wounded Warriors or Chattanooga Community Kitchen.
