Carolyn Ruth Glenn

Carolyn Ruth Glenn, 63, a resident of McMinnville, Tennessee. Who recently moved to Cleveland, Tennessee and was with us for a short while. Carolyn who was diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma brain cancer in 2015. Passed away peacefully on Friday December 23, 2016 at her home in Cleveland. Carolyn was well known for being loving, devoted, caring, and compassionate to everyone around her. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was always known as the best mom ever….Never judged anyone for how they lived, but instead she would always find the best in everyone she came contact with. Carolyn was a hard working woman and had worked for several companies such AO Smith, Med-Rite, and Averitt where she enjoyed the time she spent driving a truck and getting to travel around the world. She had retired in 2015. She is preceded in death by her late husband James Glenn who she loved and cared for dearly. Her father John Willard Parsley. Her mother Lena Paul Jones and her step father Thomas Ed Jones. Carolyn had recently accepted Jesus Christ as her savior and loved it when the pastors would come and visit her at home. She loved classic country music and absolutely cherished her relationship with her son T.J Reeder and his fiancé’ Lisa Hughes both residents of Cleveland, Tennessee. Her oldest son Michael Shayne Reeder from Smithville, Tennessee is also very fortunate to have such a wonderful mother who loved him dearly. Carolyn also leaves behind two grand-daughters Shayla Reeder of McMinnville, Tennessee and Addisyn Reeder of Cleveland, Tennessee. One grandson Jaythen Reeder of McMinnville, Tennessee. One brother Paul Parsley and his wonderful wife Naoma Parsley both of McMinnville, Tennessee, who was not only Carolyn’s sister-in-law, but also a lifelong friend…
Carolyn has one nephew Brandon Parsley and his wife Alicia Parsley both of McMinnville, Tennessee and one Niece Shelby parsley of McMinnville, Tennessee. The Family will not be having a service, but once her ashes are ready she requested that they remain at her son T.J.’s in Cleveland, Tennessee.
