Carole Jean Beddingfield

Carole Jean Beddingfield, 80 of Spring City. TN. passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 22, 2022. She was born in Denver Colorado on August 12, 1942. She resided in Spring City, TN for 39 years. She was a mother of 3, a fun-loving Nana of 10, and was a fanatic about her 11 great grandkid and loved her doggies. Carole had a charisma that was a bit unique and tempered with a lot of sass. She had questionable but entertaining parenting methods according to stories told by her children and she was definitely unlike most grandmothers. Carole always loved in her own special supportive way no matter what. She was the anchor of the family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth Ralph Beddingfield, father, John Allen, mother, Angelina Allen and a brother, William “Bill” Allen Jr. She is survived by a sister, Donna Allen of Spring City, TN., one son and daughter in law, Michael Allen and Cathy Beddingfield of Athens, TN.; daughter, Donna Elaine Jarrett of Athens, TN, Daughter, Elizabeth Anne Beddingfield of Spring City, TN. Grandchildren; Sylvia Pickel, William Beddingfield, Brittney Beddingfield, Georgia Luttenburger, Ethan Beddingfield, Caitlynn Smith, Teylar Williams, Alyssa Williams, Syl Beddingfield and Christopher Braxton. The family will have a memorial in Carole’s honor and will be receiving family and friends Friday, December 30, 2022 starting at 3pm to 5pm at Wolf Creek Fire Hall in Spring City, TN. The family will abide by her wishes of cremation. In lieu of flowers please make a generous donation to the Rhea County Animal shelter at 9118 Back Valley Road, Evansville, TN 37332 in her memory.
