Carol Elizabeth Nolen

Carol Elizabeth Nolen, 78, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at a local healthcare facility. Carol was a member of East Cleveland Baptist Church for the past 56 years, She also worked for the Church of God Publishing house for 20 years. Carole was an extremely generous woman and dedicated prayer warrior who would pray for anyone in need. Carol had a special love for shopping, especially for pretty shoes. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy H and Pauline Finnell Chapman; brothers, Billy H. Chapman and infant brother, Leroy Chapman.
Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 63 years, Bill Nolen; children, Leslie Bennett (Steve) and Brian Nolen (Kim); grandchildren, Jason Bennett (Jami), Amanda Brakebill (Nick), Peyton Nolen, and Madison Nolen; great grandchildren, Lauren Ogle, Scotty Barrera, Nolen Bennett, and Gage Brakebill. As well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 10, 2018 from 5-7pm at Companion Funeral Home: Cleveland Chapel. The celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 11am in the Companion Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Officiate: Rev. Joe Lockman. Pallbearers: Jason Bennett, Nick Brakebill, Gage Brakebill, Scotty Barrera, Josh West and Alex West
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Signature Healthcare for the exceptional care of Carol during her time there. They also ask that any donations be made to East Cleveland Baptist Church Missions fund, in her honor.
