Calvin Eugene Crowder

Calvin Eugene Crowder, 75, of Athens, Tennessee Went home to be with the Lord and to be reunited with his wife Karen on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Calvin was born on December 29, 1946, to the late Clarence and Edna Crowder in Tellico Plains, Tennessee. Calvin was a member of Valley Road Baptist Church; he was also a former marine and police officer of the Calhoun police Department.

Along with his parents Calvin was preceded in death by his wife, Karen (Buckelew) Crowder; and his sister in law, Gail Crowder.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Chris (Lacy) Crowder, Summer (Shannon) Buckner; grandchildren, Gage Crowder, Lexi Crowder, Hayden Buckner, and Peyton Buckner; siblings, Paulette (Frank) McCullough, Diane (Tommy) Hicks, Bill (Gladys) Crowder, and Herman Crowder; along with several nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
Calvin enjoyed taking care of his dog Brinley, going to church, studying his bible and reading it 3 times through, and cleaning and shooting his pistols.
