Brenda Faye Hooker Adams

Brenda Faye Hooker Adams, 64, of Cleveland, TN passed away on June 4, 2016. She was born on August 5, 1951 to the late Duard William Hooker and Sylvia Parton Hooker. She was a lifelong resident of this area. Brenda loved the Lord and her family dearly. She enjoyed sewing and was also very witty, being known for often playing tricks and jokes on her family. She also loved her Indian artifacts and has been collecting those for many years.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by two brothers Wayne Hooker and David Hooker.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory one son Johnny Hooker (Laura); daughter Sonya Key (Mark); two brothers Eddie Hooker and Lester Hooker (Barbara); grandchildren: Shane Key, Whitney Key, Jake Key, Kassie Silvers, Amanda Hooker, Toni Reavis, Geneva Groves, and Tim Bacon; great grandchildren: Fisher, Eden, Bryson, Bailee, Rhythm, and Hayden. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends and one special great nephew Justin Hooker.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday June 9, 2016 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday June 8, 2016 and from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Thursday June 9, 2016. Interment will follow the service on Thursday at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery with Ernie Hooker, Verlin Hooker, Shane Key, Jake Key, Jimmy Parton, and Tim Bacon serving as pallbearers.
