Brenda Carder

Brenda Carder, 81, of Cleveland, TN passed away on January 23, 2023. She was born on February 9, 1941 to the late T.D. and Dovie Caldwell. Brenda graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelors Degree and was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma sorority. Brenda served the children as an educator for more than 30 years as an English Teacher and Librarian. She loved her family and spending time with them.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband Fred Carder Sr.; grandson Bradley Carder; brother David Caldwell.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Fred Carder Jr. (Janene) and Mark Carder (Jennifer); grandchildren: Josh Carder, Will Carder, Mary Cate Carder, and Anna Carder; great grandchildren: Adelynn, Greyson, Evie, and River; sisters Debbie Walker and Julie Works. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Brenda’s family will receive friends from 4pm until 7pm on Thursday January 26th at First Baptist Church Cleveland with a service to follow at 7pm. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 11am on Friday January 27th at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
