Bonnie Lea Coleman Morgan

Bonnie Lea Coleman Morgan, born to the late C.L. and Rosella Coleman on November 14, 1948, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Bonnie went to her eternal home to live with Jesus in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve, December 24, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones. Until her health failed, she attended Philippi Bapist Church. Bonnie was well known as “Bonnie Fife” at Tennessee Deparment of Safety where she had retired as a drivers license examiner and was always known for her quick wit and great sense of humor.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by a son, Anthony (Tony) Morgan and a grandson Tyler Meyers.
She is survived by one son Eric (Sherri) Morgan; three grandsons Cody, Tanner, and Bryar Morgan; two sisters Elizabeth (Doug) Satterfield, Faye (Paul) Strait; three brothers Johnny Coleman, Freddie Coleman (Naomi), Bobby Coleman (Denise); one longtime friend Sue Tegels, all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 27, 2017 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at 161 2nd Street, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday December 28, 2017 at Philippi Baptist Church located at 2484 Harrison Pike, Cleveland, TN 37311 with Dr. Sammy Hooker and Rev. Ray Cheatham officiating. The family will also receive friends at Philippi from 1:00pm until 3:00pm on Thursday before the service.* Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Cody Morgan, Tom Coleman, Johnathan Coleman, David Michaels, Doug Satterfield Jr., Scott McJunkin, and Dustin Coleman serving as pallbearers. Tyson Ledford, James McJunkin, Gabe Michaels, and Tanner Morgan will serve as honorary pallbearers.
