Billy Reece Frady

Billy Reece Frady, 88, of Ocoee, TN passed away on January 10, 2017. He was born on September 9, 1928 to the late Henry and Stella Frady. Billy was a lifelong resident of Polk County and of the Baptist Faith. He was a member of Blue Ridge Temple Baptist, but attended Thompson Springs Baptist Church. Billy was a 32nd degree Mason, member of the Scottish Rite and Shriners. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and his love for the Lord Jesus was evident in his life.

In addition to his mother and father, Billy is preceded in death by his first wife Imogene Frady; brother Olen Frady, infant brother J.W. Frady; and sister Dorothy Schneider.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 10 years, Betty Frady; son Allen Frady, grandson Christopher Frady, granddaughter April Morgan and great grandson Mason Reece Morgan; son CW4 (RET) Bruce Frady and his wife SGM (RET) Laura Frady, grandsons Joshua Frady and Jonathan Hernandez; daughter Melissa Frady; brother Charles Frady (Easter); sister in law Inez Frady. In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous other nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday January 15, 2017 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 with Rev. Chuck Tanner officiating. Interment will follow the service on Sunday in Dill Cemetery with Chad Morgan, Danny Hawkins, Lee Varner, Steve Watson, Kevin Kress, and Mark Henley serving as pallbearers. Mason Morgan will serve as honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday January 14, 201 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
