Billy Joe Welch

Billy Joe Welch, 65, of Sale Creek, TN passed away on January 4, 2022. He was born on February 1, 1956.
Billy was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather. He never met a stranger, He could talk the ears off of any that would listen. He was loved and admired by many. Some even called him papaw...not because of his age but because of the life lessons he taught and how he treated everyone with the same respect. Billy was with the Tennessee American Water Company until he retired, and was very fond of his work family. Billy enjoyed running equipment and tinkering in the garage. Some of his favorite pastimes were riding his Harley, watching Nascar and spending time in the garage with friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his mother Ima Jean Welch.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father Herbert Welch; wife Rosezella Eisen-Welch; daughter Talyna (Tim) Wyatt; son Chris (Smantha) Deese and Tony Deese; grandchildren: Austyn and Khloe’ Welch, Cheyenne Wyatt, Klarissa, Devon, Layla, Hannah, Jesse, Elizabeth, Kylee, and Madelyn Deese. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life, Jan 14th 5:00pm-8:00pm at the Sale Creek Fire Hall with Rev Kevin Shelton with the Flat Top Independent Church officiating.
Masks are optional but highly recommended.
