Billy Joe Robinson

Billy Joe Robinson, 79, longtime resident of Bradley County, passed away on December 13, 2020. He was born in Louisville, KY on July 25, 1941 to the late John Thomas and Hilda Mae Hall Robinson. He was of the Baptist Denomination and enjoyed blacksmithing, woodworking, and collecting many antique blacksmith and woodworking tools. He was a quiet, caring, and generous person who loved his family dearly. He was always willing to help others in need and he often never took credit for what he did-preferring being in the background. He was a true gentleman.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Marie Robinson; son Jody Robinson (Joanie); daughters Joy Aisthorpe (David) and Kim Crisp (Tim); sister Helen Helton; grandchildren: Ethan Robinson and Kayla Crisp Hooker; great grandchildren: Eli Robinson, Nolan Hooker, Nova Robinson, Bria Robinson, Nollie Robinson, and Silas Hooker. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A celebration of life service will be held later.
