Beverly Ann Hayes

Obituary

Beverly Ann Hayes of Cleveland, Tennessee was escorted by the angels to a place Jesus made for her in Heaven on May 7th, 2015. She was born on June 13th, 1938 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, but lived most of her life in Michigan. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, her late husband Ted Hayes, parents Julia Mae and Atchy Summars, brothers Burl, William, Donnie, and Randy Summars, her grandson Steven Betters and great-grandson Race Tuttle. She worked for 16 years for Bradley Memorial Hospital, where she met the end of her journey.

She is survived by sisters Muriel Glover and Carol Bolin, brothers Carl, Freddie, and Jimmy Summars; her 5 children Theresa Gail Burris and son-in-law Robert Burris of Cleveland, Theodore Hayes and daughter-in-law Loretta Hayes of Nashville, Indiana, John Hayes and daughter-in-law Candy Hayes of Cleveland, Danny Hayes and daughter-in-law Candy Hayes of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Mary Schultz and son-in-law Tom Schultz of Cleveland.

She is also survived her grandchildren by Marcus Camacho, Lottie Camacho, Shannon Camacho, Tiffany Tuttle, Ashley Day, Amber Hayes, Danny Hayes, Cody and Alex Schultz. She is survived by great-grandchildren Anastasia, Cheyenne, and Kailee Betters, Carter and Cid Camacho, Jaime Teague, Lucas and Steel Tuttle, Max Day and Mikel Merriman.

Beverly was fond of angels, which makes her departure with the angels so profound. She was an avid lover of the 50s and The Detroit Tigers. In addition to working at Bradley Memorial, she had a degree in Cosmetology. She enjoyed conversation and was always happy to talk about anything. Toward the end of her journey, she walked with her daughter Theresa spiritually to keep her focused on her gifts in Heaven and pass peacefully with her eyes set on her jouney to Heaven. She loved the spring time, the hummingbirds and butterflies. She promised to return to visit her loved ones in the form of her favorite things on Earth. The greatest Mothers Day gift she could receive is the eternal bliss and contentment of her arrival in Heaven, waiting for her angels to escort her. When she passed, she was surrounded by loved ones to the song Praise You in the Storm and exit prayer by Pastor Jamie Sears of Mt. Olive Ministries. She will be deeply missed, but we will all see her again in Gods embrace when we make our journey to Heaven.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday May 10th, 2015 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311, with Brother James Sears officiating.
