Beulah Yarber Douglas

Beulah Yarber Douglas, 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed from death to life on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Athens, TN on November 11, 1948.

Mrs. Douglas was the daughter of the late Susie Wampler Patterson and James Leo Yarber. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Charles Edward Wade, III, sisters: Rossie Schoate, Louise Buckner, Nancy Frady, Elissie Wilmot, Ruby Yarber Nolen, Elizabeth McElroy and her brothers: Robert Yarber, Johnny Yarber, Alfred Yarber, Avery Yarber, Willis Key, James Key, Cecil Key, Robert Key, & Clarence Key.

Mrs. Douglas was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. She retired from Mars Incorporated. She loved gospel music, playing the organ, and traveling. But most of all, she enjoyed serving her Lord and Savior and helping her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Kenneth Douglas; daughters: Renae Hartert (Joe), Summer Douglas, both of Cleveland, sons: Scott Wade of Chattanooga, Kevin Douglas (Fran) Rutherfordton, NC, Keith Douglas (Tammy) Valleyhead, AL, grandchildren: Sabra Robinson (Kevin), Marcus Campbell, Neil Hartert, Kristen Hartert, Brian Hartert, Morgan Douglas, Evan Douglas, Nathan Douglas (Shasta), Justin Douglas (Amber), sister: Mary Sue Roderick (J.C), brothers: Clifford Key, Noah Yarber (Dianne), many precious great grandchildren, beloved nieces and nephews, as well as many wonderful friends.

Beulah’s family will receive friends at Companion Funeral Home from 4-7pm on Thursday, July 28th. The service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 29th, at 1pm with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Neil Hartert, Brian Hartert, Kolten Gibson, Rick Carver, Todd Thurmond, and Kevin Robinson.
