Betty June Gates

Betty June Gates, 55, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at a local hospital. Betty was a loving wife, spouse, and sister. She loved her family, especially her sons. She loved riding through the mountains, going to the beach, going fishing, and last but not least she enjoyed watching NASCAR races. She was of Christian Faith. Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bueron and Betty Young; sisters, Judy Robinson and Teresa Cross; nephew, Charlie Atchley; niece, Amanda Cross.
Betty leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 26 years, Charles Franklin Gates; sons, Darin and Tanner Gates; sisters Wanda (Terry) Richmond and Sondra (Tim) Crowden; nieces, Stephanie Atchley and Courtney Crowden; nephews, Christopher and Jayden Crowden; great nieces, Hailey and Megan Atchley, Kaylen Duffy; best friend, Loretta Burgess; along with several aunts, uncles, and extended family. She also leaves behind her beloved K9 companions.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Michigan Ave Church of God from 11am-1pm. the celebration of life service will be held at 1pm following the visitation time. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens following the service.
