Betty Jean Moore Martin

Betty Jean Moore Martin, 86, of Cleveland, TN passed away on October 28, 2022. She was born on February 19, 1936 to the late Garland Robert Moore and Laura Mae Moore. Betty was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband George E. Martin; sisters Vestal Boring and Geneva Broomfield; grandson Trevor Vic Martin Jones.

She is survived by her daughter Debbie Martin Jones; grandson Jorge Victor Trent Jones, the pride and joy of her life.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday November 1st at Companion Funeral Home from 1pm until 3pm. A funeral service will follow visitation at 3:00pm and Minister Eric Bender will be officiating. Rev. Adam Harden will close the service in prayer. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers for the service will include: Kent Broomfield, Dave Ricketts, Aaron Kinser, Corey Lovelace, Bill Watson, and Adam Bender.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
