Betty Evelyn Ownby

Betty Evelyn Ownby, 91, of Cleveland, TN passed away on January 16, 2023. She was born on July 20, 1931 to the late Earl and Hattie Disharoon. Betty loved gardening and always enjoyed having a big garden.

In addition to her father and mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Ownby and sister Edna Moore.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Mitchell Ownby and his children, Matthew and Jonathan Ownby; sisters: Mary Smith, Debbie Callahan, and Roberta Granville; brothers Gene Disharoon and Jimmy Disharoon; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Her family will receive friends on Saturday January 28th from 12pm until 2pm at Companion Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 2:30pm at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
