Bennie Dixon Nicholson

Bennie Dixon Nicholson, 71, a lifelong resident of Ocoee, TN passed away on Saturday morning, January 19, 2019. She was born in Cleveland, TN on January 9, 1948 a daughter of the late Alvin Dixon Sr. and Maxine Scroggins Dixon. She was a lifelong member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Bennie’s greatest pastime was taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters Pat Swafford and Linda Henry and her husband Gene.

Bennie leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 49 years David Nicholson, one daughter Tracy Clark and husband Roger, one son Jason Nicholson, seven grandchildren Hayden Nicholson, Riley Nicholson, Tucker Nicholson, Lainie Clark, Summer Clark, Miranda Clark and Tessa Clark, two brothers Alvin Dixon Jr. and John Dixon (Linda), one brother in law Larry Swafford, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Monday evening, January 21, 2019 at 8:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church located at 358 Highway 64, Ocoee, TN 37361 with the Reverend Kinzel Hooker and the Reverend Charlie Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday evening at the church from 6:00 PM until the 8:00 PM service time.

The interment and committal service will take place on Tuesday morning, January 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Shiloh Cemetery with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers.
