Bennett Isaiah Pendergrass

Bennett Isaiah Pendergrass, 70, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pikeville, TN on February 2, 1948 to the late Robert & Anna Lou Hale Pendergrass. Bennett was a faithful member of Dayton Church of Christ. He drove a log truck for many years and later worked as a concrete truck driver before retiring from Lambcon Corporation.
Bennett leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Linda Simmons Pendergrass; one daughter Christina Michelle Butler and husband Colby; one son James Matthew Pendergrass; two granddaughters Gracie and Abigail Pendergrass; three brothers Eugene Pendergrass (Anna), Kenneth Pendergrass (Linda) and Terry Pendergrass (Gayla); numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
In honor of his wishes, there will be no formal visitation or services.
