Beatrice "Bea" Jackson

Beatrice “Bea” Jackson, 72, a resident of Benton, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday March 18, 2018. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, where she enjoyed worshipping her Lord and Savior with her beloved church family. Bea worked as a 911 dispatcher in Polk County for 34 years, before retiring. She was dearly loved by all those that knew her and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Mossie Smith; siblings, Glenn Smith and Geneva Hensley; and her beloved husband, Robert “Bud” Jackson.
Bea leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving son, Doug Jackson; grandchildren, Tiffanie Casson (Brandon) and Steven Jackson (Haley); great-grandchildren, Kolton & AnnaLea Casson and Gracie Belle Jackson; siblings, EttaFaye, Hester, Roger, Thelma Lou, Nevada, Elmer, Kathy, Rickie Lee, and Debra Sue; dear friend, who was like a sister to her, Mary Gibson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 21, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Mountain View Baptist Church, located at 1561 Mountain View Road, Benton, TN 37307.
A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday March 22, 2018 at the church.
Following the service, Bea will be laid to rest in the Hedden Cemetery, located behind the church, with Steven Jackson, Kolton Jackson, Brandon Casson, Chris Peak, Lee “Punkin” Gibson, and Dennis Gibson serving as pallbearers.
