Barbara Ruth Kyle

Barbara Ruth Kyle, 78, of Benton, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Barbara was born on May 9, 2023, in Old Fort, Tennessee to the late Luther T. Wilson, and Mary L. Davis Wilson. She enjoyed sewing, working in her flower garden, and spending time with her grandchildren. Barbara was also an avid reader, and enjoyed Native American history, being outdoors, and working on arts and crafts. Barbara was a graduate of the 1962 class of Polk County Highschool.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Kyle Sr.; her aunt who raised her, Minnie Blankenship; and her siblings, Bill Wilson, Johnny Wilson, Marshal Wilson, Bud Wilson, L.T. Wilson, Jack Wilson, Nina Prichard, Inez Crenshaw, Lois Mantooth, Mildred Sparks, Charlotte Gibson, Ver Sue Wilson, Janice Wilson; and her son in law, Sonny Hayes.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Bobby (Kristin) Kyle Jr., Jay (Missy) Kyle, Billy Kyle, and Carla Hayes; her sister, Frances Couch; sisters in love, Peggy Wilson, Peggy Bowman; her special cousin, Nancy Huff; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 4:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland with Minister Bill Maynard officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm prior to the service.
