Obituary

Barbara June Geren, 78, of Charleston, TN passed away on September 24, 2014 at Life Care Center of Cleveland, TN. She was born on June 18, 1936 to the late Earl Carter and Rosabel Rose. Barbara loved to sing and was a very hardworking and giving individual that loved helping those in need. She never held a grudge and was always forgiving. Above all things, she loved her family and was a very Godly woman.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by two sons: Edward Keith Millaway Jr. and Heath Millaway and several brothers and sisters.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory one son Alan Millaway and daughter Patricia Millaway; six grandchildren: Crystal Smith, Dustin Millaway, William Millaway, Tabitha Smith, Amber Millaway, and Luke Millaway; four great-grandchildren. In addition to these, she leaves behind several other extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday September 27, 2014 at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service located at 2415 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 with Pastor David Evans officiating. Interment will follow the service at Johnston Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Friday September 26, 2014.
