Barbara Jeanette Talton

Barbara Jeanette Talton, 70, a lifelong resident of Birchwood, TN went home to be with the lord June 27, 2018. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister. She was preceded in death by her parents Perry and Flora Bettis Roy Dale Bettis she leaves behind her husband of 36 years Jerry Talton her 4 children Bobbie Jean (Eddie) Womack, Loretta (Pete) Mckinney, James Goode (Brandi Elliot), Billy Goode (Heather Watts) 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a lifelong friend Tina Bettis. Pastor Jim Summerford will be officiating the service. Anthony Talton, Michael Goode, Jason Bettis, Jeff Bettis, Coleman Elder, Logan Davis will be serving as pallbearers. Jamie Goode, and Dylan Cope will be serving as honorary pallbearers.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, July 1st from 5PM to 7PM at Freedom Church of God, (9844 Highway 58 Ooltewah, TN 37363). Celebration of life service will be held at on Monday July 2nd at the church, the family will also receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow after the service at the Perry Bettis Cemetery in Birchwood, TN.
