Barbara Borders

Barbara Borders, 80 passed away November 12, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on July 21, 1936 in Saltville VA and was known as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and devoted wife. "Nana Barb" was preceded in death by her parents William Ralph and Thelma Early Haynes, brothers Ralph Haynes, James "Red" Haynes and Kenneth Haynes.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years Jack, daughters Sandee Allison (Marty), Sharon Johnson (Sam), Sherry Cross (Patrick), son Jack Borders (Teresa) all of Cleveland TN. Grandchildren Amanda Johnson (Steven), Douglas Allison, Jordan Holcomb (Blanca), Colby Holcomb (Cassie), Megan Johnson (Jared), Brittany Bridges (Brad), Josh Johnson, Kelly Johnson, Logan Cross and Lyndsey Cross.
Great-grandchildren Kara Johnson, Emily Johnson, Amelia Dickerson, Jonas Dickerson and Wyatt Bridges.
She is also survived by one sister Linda Henderson, brothers Malcolm Haynes (Shirley), Carl Haynes (Sissy) all of Saltville, VA and Larry Haynes (Martha) of Virginia Beach, VA along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening November 16 from 6 - 8 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road in Cleveland TN. There is no public memorial planned at this time.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Companion Funeral Home for handling the arrangements.
