Averon Wayne Helton, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on May 18, 2023, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee, at the age of 67. Born on April 8, 1956, in Cleveland, Tennessee, he was the son of Albert and Betty (Helton) Huddgen.

Averon was a man of many passions and interests. He cherished his sons and found joy in their company. He had a deep love for weightlifting and arm wrestling, constantly challenging himself to push his limits. Averon had a need for speed and enjoyed the adrenaline rush of drag racing and the thrill of cars. He also had a fondness for bicycles, appreciating the simplicity and freedom they represented. In his leisure time, Averon could often be found playing pool or engaging in card games, with poker being a particular favorite. He had a profound appreciation for nature and its breathtaking scenery. Relaxing and taking it easy brought him great contentment. Averon was known for his outgoing and lively personality, making him a joy to be around. His intelligence and loving nature endeared him to many, while his optimism and strong will inspired those who knew him. Averon was truly one of a kind.

Averon leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his sons, Preston James Moon, Colton Wayne (Nichole) Moon, and his fiancée, Precious Beth Herron. He is also survived by his daughter, Kristy Ann (Tommy) Helton. Averon's siblings, Debbie Pendergrass and Sam Huddgen, will forever hold him in their hearts. His grandchildren, Jordan Blake Moon, Naomi Ryanne Moon, Jacob Helton, Jessy Helton, and Colton Wayne Moon, brought immeasurable joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Helton, his stepfather, Albert Huddgen, his brother, Donnie "Don" Huddgen, and his sister, Dianne Huddgen. Although they have left this earthly realm, their memories will continue to be cherished by those who loved them.

The final arrangements for Averon Wayne Helton have been entrusted to Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, Cleveland Chapel. In accordance with his family's wishes, a private memorial will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate his life.

In our hearts, Averon will forever remain, remembered for his vibrant spirit, love for his family, and the lasting impact he made on all those fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace.
